Hemi Hemingway

A fan of sounds both old and new, Hemi Hemingway mixes lo-fi guitar buzz with pop melodies in the classic manner and creates music that brings out the best side of both. Clever without overdosing on irony, his songs take classic girl group influences, filter them through the imagination of a contemporary rock artist, and let the coincidences and contradictions work in his favor. The side project of a veteran indie musician, Hemingway made his debut in 2021 with the tuneful lo-fi sounds of the EP The Lonely Hunter. 2023 brought his first full-length album, Strangers Again, and he explored deeper themes on 2026's Wings of Desire.
