In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being invited at Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow after a famous Russian Jazz band saw me performing in the street in Amsterdam. That was in 2007, just after two years I started play Handpan. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 47 production, Dhafer Youssef - trap - Single Shpongle, Are You Shpongled? Sibil, Sibil (feat. Mercan Dede - Göksel Baktagir - Petro - Surp Vartanants Choir) I do love Dhafer Youssef voice. Very special connection with musicians. Mercan Dede, I had the pleasure to meet him in person and had a music session with Göksel Baktagir in Istanbul. There is also a video in Youtube. Shpongle? I Got sphongled! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “We Create (Live)” This song is from the latest album "Being Human". Is it special for me because that is the reason why I am here, in this planet. To create. All the album was created live, in the moment. No reharsal, no ideas. We just sat and started to play. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have many. The baseline of it is that all the beauty I have got in my life is related to sharing music with listeners. Tedx was an interesting one. I never study music and somehow, performed at Tchaikovsky concert Hall in Moscow ;) Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Always! Being never satisfied, it keep the creativity going on. Well, I would love to play some of my Handpan tunes for Mercan dede. And a to create something with Kabeção and/or Kumea Sound, my two favourite Handpan Musicians.
