Claire Barnett-Jones

Mezzo-soprano Claire-Barnett Jones has won an impressive series of awards, including the Audience Prize at the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition. She has appeared in major operatic roles in Britain and across continental Europe. Barnett-Jones made her debut at the BBC Proms in a performance of Stockhausen's Mittwoch aus Licht, and in 2012, she was heard on pop star Damon Albarn's album Dr. Dee. At the English National Opera, Barnett-Jones made her debut in 2019 in Harrison Birtwistle's The Mask of Orpheus. Barnett-Jones was one of several singers featured on the 2023 recording The Jade Mountain: Songs of Edmund Rubbra.
