In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memory of making music was receiving a tape recorder from my parents in 4th grade. I loved that thing – I'd write and record lyrics without melodies or instruments. I was always most interested in the lyrics. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kings of Leon, Only By the Night The Killers, Hot Fuss The Police, Synchronicity (Remastered 2003) These three albums spoke to my own emotional disposition in a way other albums couldn't. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Kid I Used to Know” This song is special to me because of how meaningful it has been to my fans – it has helped them through life in a way other artists' songs have helped me. It's a great gift to be able to do that for others as an artist. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? 2021 posed a very difficult year for me – both personally and artistically. I underwent brain and spinal surgery for a rare brain condition. This experience inspired my upcoming album, 'Too Late to Start Over'. Written and recorded 2021-2024.
