Luis Angel “El Flaco” is a banda singer and recording artist who grew up in Sinaloa, Mexico. ∙ As a child, he performed classic songs by Vicente Fernández and other Mexican greats at family and school events, and he later studied singing at a Sinaloa arts school. ∙ He began his professional career as a teen, and he joined the prolific, sometimes controversial veteran group Banda Los Recoditos in 2003. ∙ Luis Angel was a lead singer on Banda Los Recoditos’ 2010 hit “Ando Bien Pedo,” which topped Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart. ∙ In 2020, he released his solo debut single, “Reflexión,” followed by the albums Desde Casa and Pa’ Los Viejos.
