Cat Burns Essentials

Born in 2000 in London, Cat Burns was laser-focused on making pop music from her time at the prestigious BRIT School. She recorded and self-released her debut EP at age 16, and during the Covid pandemic she captured the attention of TikTok users with her homespun clips of originals and covers. In 2020 she released “go”, a dreamily spare breakup song that showcased her velvet-lined alto; two years later, after she’d signed a record deal, it went to No. 2 and was re-released with a Sam Smith feature. Since then, Burns has released a steady stream of singles, including the heartfelt duet with drill MC ArrDee “Home For My Heart”, and toured with pop royalty like Smith, Years & Years and Ed Sheeran.
