In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. It was when I first started rapping. Me and my cousin had a group where he rapped and I sang. After a couple songs I said man I can do that too and the first record I rapped on came out really good. I perfected it for years and now it’s my main lane. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 6LACK, FREE 6LACK DJ Khaled, KHALED KHALED Kendrick Lamar, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers Man the production on Khaled Khaled album was amazing and filled with soo many amazing artist. Mr Morale & The Big Steppers speaks for it self, N95 and Rich spirit alone was 🔥. 6lack is really one of my fav artist and this whole album was amazing. Tell us why you chose this song. “Temperatures Rising” Temperatures Rising is special to me because this is the first record I released after rebranding from Shellz to ItzSHLZ. The record displays the true R&B side of my artistry and brings a very sexual vibe which I am fully in tune with. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment I’ve had in music to me was when I got booked for a 30 min set at one of the biggest music festivals in my hometown Fort Wayne, IN “The Taste of the Arts Festival”. Just seeing all the support that showed up and luv shown. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to work with some of my influences that I’ve looked up to in music in both features and songwriting. I want to be acknowledged as one of the best song writers in music. I want to be nominated and win a Grammy and BET Best New Artist Award.
