On his debut EP Make You Dance, Tanzanian rapper G Nako reaches deep into his repertoire of unfiltered and melodic Swahili rhythms to sing of a life in Technicolor. “Live your life as I life my life,” fellow Tanzanian singer Rayvanny coos as Nako raps on “Tusipangiane” and radiates a boisterousness on the thumping “Energy”. Other collaborators like Tasiana and Kenyan singer Femi One also make appearances on this project, a call to exude joy in the face of daily troubles.
