Indeed, they manage to sound like a different band on nearly every hit. The 2019 single “Testify”, a massive anthem fuelled with the God-affirming emotion of praise & worship, sounds light years removed from “Dive”, a showcase for the duo’s love of spacey atmosphere and meditations on faith and morality littered with pop-culture references. And this is only for starters: as Social Club Misfits’ popularity has grown, so too has their gift for incorporating new sounds like R&B, EDM and even Latin music.
