Visionary art-rock explorer Leonid Fedorov rose to fame in the '80s as Auktyon's leader. Though he kept the group going, Fedorov embarked on a solo career in 1997 with the release of his debut. His string arrangements create a dark foundation for moody guitar motifs and poetic lyrics, while his experimental spirit has led to collaborations with jazz bassist Vladimir Volkov, among others.
