Her debut solo album, 1998's Soul of a Woman, saw her successfully stepping up into the spotlight as the project became a commercial hit. 2000's Mirror Mirror repeated the success as fans were wooed by the Queens-raised singer's powerhouse voice and ability to infuse her music with gospel undertones. Confirming her talent, 2011's Kelly project saw her receiving three GRAMMY® nominations.
