A modern pop polymath, Anton Aleksandrovich Kuznetsov has been dismantling genre boundaries his entire career. Under the moniker Antoha MC, the Russian multi-instrumentalist—best known for his trumpet playing and a vocal style that shifts between singing and rapping—fuses hip-hop, funk and reggae influences into a supremely danceable sound. Cases in point include the off-kilter rhythms of “Ритм сердца” (“Heart Rhythm”) as well as the dancehall-inflected fizz of “Лето приём” (“Hey, Summer”).
