In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started making music because of Skrillex. As a kid, I always thought his sound was super cool and wanted to make something like it. As I grew with my music, I watched him evolve as well. This inspired me to continue pushing on as a producer. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? ILLENIUM, Ascend K/DA, ALL OUT (feat. League of Legends) - EP Rich Brian, The Sailor These 3 albums represent, at my core, who I am as a producer and creator. ASCEND was one of the greatest EDM albums I've ever heard, The Sailor helped validate me as an Asian in the music industry, and ALL OUT has the craziest sound design ever. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Don't Leave (feat. keshi)” I wrote this song when I ended my first relationship. I was heartbroken and only just started rapping. The lyrics are so simple, anyone can relate to them and I think that's what makes this special. The simplicity of sadness touches everyone. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It was definitely growing as a K-pop producer. It's so crazy, I never expected so many young, budding songwriters to flock to my beat page to tell me "Amazing job!" or "I love this!" and basically be an outlet for these kids to express themselves. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want a credit on a major, commercial track or have my music played in a movie / TV show. Maybe win a music award someday or simply just create good music for the rest of my life. Manifesting!
