About Egyptrixx

Mixing tech-house, garage, electro, and whatever other styles he chooses, Canadian producer David Psutka offers genre-defying electronic music when he works under the name Egyptrixx. Psutka launched the project in 2008 with the album It's Always Places Like This, a ghetto-tech and bass-oriented release that featured a guest spot from Dance Mania producer DJ Slugo. His 2010 EP Battle for North America found him on Aaahh! Real Monsters and pleasing the dubstep crowd with deep bass, while that same year his Chrysalis Records EP arrived on RCRD LBL. In 2011, Night Slugs released Bible Eyes, while 2012 saw him partner with former Thrush Hermit member Ian McGettigan as Hiawatha for Language. In 2013, he returned with A/B Til Infinity. ~ David Jeffries
