About David John Ricci

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. With both my parents being highly proficient musicians, I learned to read music at 4 years old. I started on Violin, then moved to Guitar, Piano, and various other instruments until ultimately focusing on singing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bad Company, Run With the Pack Miles Davis, Kind of Blue Stevie Ray Vaughan, Couldn't Stand the Weather SRV at the height of his playing on CSTW; as witnessed in every clip of the El Macambo Footage. I can deeply relate to Miles's ability to break new ground. KoB album is a prime example of his creativity & individuality. BC-RWTP: Great songs, period. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bacon Grease” Writing and Recording with the late Great Punk Icon Pete McClanahan (Warrior Soul) was outstanding. I brought this idea to him after cooking breakfast for my wife that morning. Within an hour, we wrote and recorded the basic Tracks and Vocals. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing with the Ray Charles Band and Signing with the Raylettes. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to produce Artists like Paul McCartney and Alice Cooper along with others that I feel I could bring out untapped or underutilized greatness.
