Most of Banda Tierra Sagrada’s founding members previously played together with El Coyote y Su Banda Tierra Santa. ∙ Formed in 2011, the band spent more than a year refining their sound and playing gigs across Mexico before recording their debut album, El Último Botón. ∙ They joined forces with popular norteño-banda group Colmillo Norteño for their breakthrough hit, “El Bueno y el Malo.” ∙ “La Buena y la Mala,” the gender-reversed follow-up to “El Bueno y el Malo,” was a Top 20 hit in Mexico. ∙ In 2015, the band received a Billboard Latin Awards nomination for New Artist of the Year. ∙ Their 2019 album, De Cualquier Modo, featured collaborations with Pancho Uresti, Marco Flores, and Grupo M4. ∙ Singer Alann Mora, formerly of Edwin Luna y La Trakalosa de Monterrey, collaborated with the band on their hit 2020 single “Efecto Irreversible.”
