Remy Zero Essentials

Remy Zero Essentials

Alabama fivesome Remy Zero have the alt-rock distinction of having been “discovered” by Radiohead, who heard their demo and asked the band to join them on tour. With their achingly earnest lyrics and of-the-moment instrumentation, the group struck a chord with Generation Y and landed several tracks on high-profile soundtracks, most memorably providing the theme song to the series Smallville. Remy Zero broke up in 2002, but reunited briefly in 2010 after the death of drummer Gregory Slay.
