Géraldine Reuteler: Music That Moves Me

“I listen to music every day,” Switzerland’s Géraldine Reuteler tells Apple Music. “Whenever I’m driving to training by car, it makes me feel good for the whole day. And on the way to the games, I listen to music that pushes me.” The youngest player in the Swiss side at her first championships in 2017 (crashing out in the group stage), Reuteler hopes her exclusive playlist will help energise her side to greater heights this summer. Amongst a sizzling pick of huge anthems, Géraldine circles collabs from David Guetta and Kelly Rowland (“When Love Takes Over”); Drake, Wizkid and Kyla (“One Dance”); and Major Lazer and DJ Snake’s infectious club hit with MØ (“Lean On”)—to further demonstrate her belief in solid teamwork to achieve best results. “What we need is music that doesn’t make us feel tired,” she says. “We need something with a certain ‘Booom!’”
