DELLAFUENTE prefers to describe his sound as música folklórica atemporal. Born and raised in Grenada, he drew notice in 2014 for guest appearances on tracks by Maka and Vicente el Vicio. As a solo artist, he takes elements of reggaeton, hip-hop and flamenco and moulds them into a world of his own. It’s a universe defined by his laid-back and charismatic style—where staccato synths, twinkling piano and sensual lyrics beam with warmth and sentimentality.
