As a child growing up in Sacramento, my mom would open the windows every Sunday morning, put on a variety of music and have us clean up. That's one of my fondest musical memories; singing along to our favorite songs while we cleaned up with mom. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Michael Jackson, Thriller N.W.A, Straight Outta Compton Prince & The Revolution, Purple Rain Thriller is first for the nature of the songs, the imagery and quality of the mix and master; Purple Rain is second, though the mix and master isn't as good as Thriller; then it's Straight Outta Compton. Tell us why you chose this song. “Valuable Lessons” This song represents my current psychology. I grew significantly from when my first songs were released to now, yet I'm still mostly known for an outdated perspective. This song brings the listener up to speed with elite lyricism. It's real rap. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Going from having a Life sentence to being released from prison, then making California Dreamin' a few days after getting out and having the video do 2 million views was pretty special. Doing Still Right Here with Tech N9ne was pretty memorable too. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My bucket list gets shorter every day. I've been checking all the boxes. Working with Dr. Dre would be epic for obvious reasons and winning awards would be awesome, but having Life and getting out of prison already took the cake. That's hard to top.
