In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Seeing Cat Stevens at the Horden Pavilion was amazing. He wasn't just an acoustic guitarist and singer, he played the piano and had a great band including Alun Davies and guitar and an awesome drummer. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Shoal Vibes Music, Miles Down the Track The Beatles, Abbey Road (Remastered) Yusuf / Cat Stevens, Tea for the Tillerman² Abbey Road is my all time favourite Beatles album with great songs by John, Paul and George. Cat Stevens is my hero and taught me the guitar so this 50th anniversary album is so special to me. Miles Down the Track is named after my son Miles. Tell us why you chose this song. “Stand up and Dance” I wrote this in 2003 but it has a retro rock and roll feel like it is from the 1950s. I was influence by the great songs of Ellie Greenwich like Leader of the Pack, Do do Ron Ron. When I play it to a new audience they instantly connect.
