In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. While recovering from surgery, I discovered the discography of ARCA, FKA Twigs & Kelela. Unknown to me, hearing these mentioned artists would drastically change my life. I felt the need to share something new, creative, and bold. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D.A.N., Sonatine Limp Bizkit, Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water Steely Dan, Aja Remastered The cover art for Aja is lovely and stunning. The originality of how the stories are told in Sonatine should be considered a masterpiece. Limp Bizkit's Chocolate Starfish & the Hot Dog Flavored Water is the most epic album. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sucker” The track Sucker was composed by my mother and I. this song was the very first single I submitted. The love that Sucker received from the underground dance and avant-garde community was overwhelming. If it weren't for her, the music wouldn't exist. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Reaching 5K players on Apple Music was a blessing. I'll never forget the moment it appeared on my artist profile. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? If my music moves another artist of color to keep creating and pushing the envelope of what sound composition means to them, then I would feel like my job here was done.
