Pat Metheny, Bright Size Life Steely Dan, Gaucho The Beatles, Abbey Road (Remastered) I’d never heard any jazz guitarist play like Pat Metheny. 'Gaucho' showcases Donald Fagen and Walter Becker’s compositional skills and studio perfectionism. 'Abbey Road' sees The Beatlesat the pinnacle of their songwriting and musicianship. Tell us why you chose this song. “Anima Antica” This is a song that just makes me feel good, with a cruisy groove and my extended guitar solo at the end. The lyrics are thought provoking and full of romanticism. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing at the Melbourne Cricket Ground during the pre-match entertainment for the 1998 Australian Football League Grand Final in front of one hundred thousand people performing my own song, ‘Rock ’N Footy’. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To keep writing and recording great songs and to tour the world. A Grammy would be nice too.
