Clockwise

About Clockwise

In the late 90's, a small metal band from Las Vegas began garnering good reviews for their energetic live shows and hypnotic lead singer. The band was Clockwise, a savage group of hardcore-influenced musicians that included bassist Alfonso Bernal, drummer Dave McMahan, vocalist Austin Leduc, and guitarists Justin Pasquale and Scott Bears. Once known in the city for his vandalism more than his musical skills, Leduc became the center of attention when the band's high octane sound began catching on with hard rock fans. Offering big choruses, solid hooks, and a penchant for flashy stage moves, Clockwise caught the attention of RCA Records, who signed the group and paired them with producer Dan Brodbeck. The collaboration led to Healthy Manipulation, released in the summer of 2002 after legendary Nirvana/Slayer mixer Andy Wallace gave the record a final polish. ~ Bradley Torreano
