In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I didn't grow up with much music but I was always drawn to it, reaching up over my head to press the keys of the piano that my mom would sometimes play or turning a tennis racket into a guitar. From the time I could speak I was making up songs. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Fleetwood Mac, Tusk (Remastered) The Beatles, Rubber Soul These records are guideposts to me. No matter where my listening takes me I find my way back to these songs. As a songwriter, this is the well that I return to for inspiration and the standard I will always be striving to achieve. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Up in the Air” This song arrived almost fully formed. I tend to wrestle with song so when this happened I took note. It's a song I view as a turning point in my writing, tapping into something I fully connected to but felt as if it were coming from somewhere else.
