About Armaan Malik

Armaan Malik is a third-generation Bollywood performer whose grandfather, father, uncles, and brother all have ties to the Hindi film industry. ∙ As a teen, Malik was awarded a scholarship to attend a summer program at Boston’s Berklee College of Music. ∙ He won two Global Indian Music Academy Awards in 2015—for his first album, Armaan, and for his debut film appearance in Ungli. ∙ Malik has lent his voice to dozens of films, including the Hindi versions of Aladdin and The Lion King. ∙ A multilingual talent, he has performed in Hindi, English, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Malayalam, and Punjabi. ∙ In 2020, he became the first artist to hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Triller chart twice in a single year, and he also won an MTV EMA award for Best India Act.
