Searching for the silver lining to every circumstance, Guvna B marks Black History Month with this uplifting Apple Music Home Session. “We live in a really challenging world, but I've found that even on the worst of days, there's always blessings to count,” he tells Apple Music. “An example is the pandemic, which was obviously awful, but the blessing in it was that I spent more time at home with my toddler, and I didn't miss any special moments during that time.” Guvna is joined by Wretch 32 for a moving rework of “Fall on Me” (from ninth studio album everywhere + nowhere), propelled by incisive rhymes on the redemptive power of faith. The East Londoner completes the set with a striking cover of Little Simz’s 2021 single “Point and Kill”. “She's such an iconic figure in UK music,” he says. “The journey hasn't been smooth, but she's stuck at it and is reaping the benefits now. That's inspiring to me. So I want to nod to her, and celebrate that.”
