Starting in the late '90s and especially through the next decade, this duo from Monterrey, Mexico put out several albums of cheeky montage pop bounding across genres: spacey trip-hop, tropical-resort disco, guitar-looped blues, noisy indie, piano-boogied house, Brazilian-rhythm rap, bass-heavy electro-talkboxed funk. In Spanish, English, and even French and Japanese, they've chattered about porno shops, parties, and perverts; boombox babies, human disco balls, and the San Diego Chargers.
