Earth & Fire Essentials
Apple Music
When twin brothers Chris and Gerard Koerts formed Earth & Fire in the late-'60s, their initial sound was noted for its psychedelic rock undertones. The next decade saw the Dutchmen supplementing their songs with electronic instruments like the Mellotron and synths, leading to a music-making approach that was considerably more pop-driven. This creative move paid off, with the duo enjoying several chart-topping hits during the '70s, including “Seasons” and “Weekend”. This playlist brings together their best work from each era.
