In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first show I ever played was at the El Macambo in Toronto. By the time it started we were not fit for public consumption. The show ended when the lead singer and I got in a fight on stage during our set. We didn't win the battle of the bands. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Black Sabbath, Black Sabbath Black Sabbath, Master of Reality Black Sabbath, Paranoid Black Sabbath's first four albums, because they are perfect. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Saki” I recorded it with the Modern Sounds, a great American band. I was able to add a section in 7/8 and get us all to groove across very different feels. Saki is a translation from Sufi poetry which refers to the boy who brings the wine. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my favorite moments thus far is opening for Nick Lowe. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have played music all over the world, but not yet in Japan. I would love to visit and play in Japan.
