Marco Antonio Solis has a voice that soars like doves, with a vibrato that could shake even the coldest heart back to life. This was apparent when he was best known as the frontman for the Mexican band Los Bukis, belting trembling melodies over plinking keyboard riffs and rich accordion swells on songs like the subtly majestic breakup track "Tu Carcel". Since going solo in the mid-'90s, Solis' vocals have flown even higher as he lets loose over towering pop and grupera ballads.
