About The Chosen Lonely

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I had a real North of Scotland entry into music, playing Accordion + Bagpipes from a young age. Aside from a couple of melodies on a CASIO keyboard at the top of our stairs - writing pop songs on guitar didn't come until my mid teens. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Glasvegas, Glasvegas Oasis, (What's the Story) Morning Glory? The Vaccines, What Did You Expect from the Vaccines? Glasvegas' debut & Morning Glory usually get into any 'top album' list of mine. The impact they had on my early guitar playing & songwriting basically requires that I mention them. It's a travesty The Beatles haven't featured, they may have been 4-10 Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Wash Out (Remastered)” It's very typical of me to pick an obscure instrumental track. But I really love the production on this. It's one of the first tracks that I fully produced myself too. It's really part 2 to Swim Softly this, but I could only pick 1, so this edges it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In past projects, I supported some of my heroes, including Parlour Flames (ft. Bonehead of Oasis). But The Chosen Lonely is the first project I've been able to produce full records in the way I like to. The EPs are very much 'short albums' to me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've yet to tour outside of the UK, and it's fast approaching the day when I move from short EPs/albums to full records.
