Ultimate Painting were formed in 2013 Jack Cooper's band Mazes went on tour opening for James Hoare's group Veronica Falls in 2013. The guitarists teamed up to make music that was unsullied by digital processes and influenced by the Velvet Underground and classic '60s/'70s pop . Recorded quickly and with both men on guitar and vocals, their albums had a laid-back feel that's perfect for relaxation, but still intricate and always melodic. ~ Tim Sendra
