About Tralala
A peppy blend of '60s pop, classic girl groups, and punk, Tralala features Chris Talsness (guitar), Nicole Lang (vocals), Liane Moccia (vocals), Stella Psaroudakis (vocals, keyboard), Marty Key (bass), and Josh Madell (drums). Other members have included Erin Marsz (vocals) and Harold Wayne (bass). The band formed in Brooklyn in 2003, first going by the name Tight Fit. In the following few years, Tralala gained substantial exposure opening for a number of well-known acts, including Robyn Hitchcock, the New York Dolls, Franz Ferdinand, the Scissor Sisters, and Broadcast. Audika Records released a self-titled album in June 2005, followed by a Christmas EP that November titled Falala-La-La with Tralala. Sophomore album Is That the Tralala arrived a year later. ~ Kenyon Hopkin
