Pocket Change

The Suffolk, VA-based Christian punk band Pocket Change comprised singer/guitarist Timme Asimos, bassist Charlie Arnold, and drummer Brian "gROVrrr" Saunders. Formed in late 1994, the trio originally played covers of secular hits, but after seeing the CCM band Strongarm perform live Pocket Change dedicated themselves to spreading the Christian message, and a year after forming recorded a demo. In 1996 they signed with the Liquid Disc label, issuing their debut Steadfast two years later. ~ Jason Ankeny
