In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Born months before Carnation Revolution, first memories are protest songs like “Grândola, Vila Morena”. Then came The Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine” (aka “ié-oh chamauin” to 5-year-old me), Pink Floyd, The Doors… and finally “Blue Monday” — life-changer What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? David Gilmour, Live In Gdansk New Order, Substance Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered First pick is easy — one of the best albums ever (I own at least 4 on vinyl). Second one doesn’t have “Blue Monday” but it changed everything from me. The 808 became my thing. Third has the best “Echoes” version ever played. Ever… and forever. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fachita” “Fachita” is a modern protest song — using irony to expose misogyny, xenophobia, racism and fear-mongering. It’s raw, uncomfortable, and it's meant to be. If it makes you uneasy and helps you stop looking away, then it’s doing its job. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I don’t make music for a “career” and will probably never play live. It’s my escape from a world where empathy's evaporating — a way to share ideas without direct confrontation. Like the Socratic method, I plant seeds of doubt and let them grow. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes — to finally launch my second musical project with my bandmate. We’ve recorded many, many songs… and published exactly zero. I’ll get to it. Eventually.
