Pop duo Chino & Nacho formed in 2007, after Jesús Pérez (Chino) and Miguel Donatti (Nacho) left the Venezuelan boy band Calle Ciega. ∙ Their 2008 debut album,Época de Reyes, featured collaborations with Don Omar, Divino, and Baroni." ∙ The duo won the 2010 Best Urban Album Latin Grammy Award for Mi Niña Bonita, making them the first Venezuelan act to achieve that honor. ∙ Supremo, from 2010, was their first album to top both the iTunes and Billboard charts. ∙ Chino & Nacho swept nine categories at the inaugural 2012 Pepsi Music Awards, including Artist, Album (Supremo), and Song (“El poet”) of the Year. ∙ In 2017, months before announcing their split, the pair’s Daddy Yankee collaboration, “Andas En Mi Cabeza,” went Platinum and has since garnered more than 1.5 billion views. ∙ Following a fan petition, they surprised followers by reuniting in 2020 for the single “Raro.”
