Quebonafide’s flow can be as tough and uncompromising as the beats that encompass it, creating a musical environment that’s urgent and pugilistic—full of futuristic-sounding raps that document his gritty lived experience. But you don’t reach the heights the Polish rapper has without offering some light alongside the shade, and melancholic ballads such as “BUBBLETEA” and “Candy” (dedicated to his then fiancé, singer Roksana) are perfect examples of the rapper’s softer side.
