With an Afghan father and Polish-Greek mother, Mosa Ghawsi aka Malik Montana grew up in a multicultural, multilingual environment in Hamburg, Germany. Initially, he released English-language tracks inspired by US rap. However, over time he has settled into Polish-language hip-hop tinted with trap influences. Lyrically, he focuses on life’s pleasures and personal ambition over rippling drum tracks and swelling synths—as heard in his 2020 single, “Mordo Wez”.
