Kill the Noise wasn't the first to bring mosh pits to the rave, but few artists have done so more energetically. An early signee to Skrillex's OWSLA label, the Los Angeles producer is equally adept at crafting laser-strafed electro-house and face-melting dubstep; no matter the style, he boasts some of the heaviest kicks and snares in the game, and his bass lines growl like beasts. Heaviness isn't the be-all and end-all of his music, though; his chord progressions positively burst with colour, while his titles and lyrics cast a sardonic glance at dance culture's excesses.
