In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I sang at my family reunion. I was literally the only kid who got up during the talent show to sing a gospel song LOL and I also led a song at my home church called “Yes There Is Hope” by the Mississippi Mass Children Choir. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Have Faith” I wrote that song at the end of a service I was singing at. I literally have 2mins to find a song that matches the sermon. I panicked, but then God dropped the lyrics in my spirit. “Have faith and believe that God is gonna do it” What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? It would have to be my live recording in April 2023. Hundreds of people flew to Nashville to experience music they had never heard before! It was very humbling! Having the #1 song was pretty memorable as well; still feeling the love from that. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I don’t think I’ve really ever made a list. I would love to write for Fantasia and maybe a few other secular artists.
