Lynda O'Connor

The activities of the versatile violinist Lynda O'Connor extend from orchestral and concerto appearances to chamber music, Irish folk music and pop, and education. She is the leader of her own Irish folk group, The Wild Turkeys. O'Connor has performed as an orchestral principal in Ireland, the U.S. (where she was partly trained), and beyond. O'Connor is a significant educator, teaching at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and the Dublin Institute of Technology. After appearing on various classical, folk, and pop albums, O'Connor made her solo debut in 2024 with the album The Irish Seasons.
