If we had a voice as powerful as Christian Daniel's, we wouldn't want a lot of studio gloss getting in the way. Renacer keeps his vocals up front, sticking largely with the dramatic ballads that are his specialty. But he also loosens up with high-spirited bachata remakes of three of his songs. True to its title, this is a rebirth of sorts: his return to the studio after five years of acting is also Daniel's first album for which he wrote most of the material.
