Mijares Essentials
Apple Music
It's just like Mijares sang on his breakout 1987 hit, “No se murió el amor” (“Love Didn't Die”). Love was just waiting to be resurrected by the right voice—in this case, one drenched in testosterone and a touch of scruff to offer an alternative to the perfectly polished pop singers of the time. For someone who paid his dues singing background vocals for Emmanuel, Mijares has a whole lot of rock ‘n' roll in him, which only makes him that much more irresistible to anyone with ears (or eyes).
