Ben Frost Essentials

Originally from Australia, where he explored his earliest musical interests using field recordings and processed acoustic guitar, Ben Frost didn't really find his musical self until he emigrated to Iceland in the early ‘00s. While helping set up the label Bedroom Community, he hit upon a dense sound that made amazing use of his processed electric guitar and snaky, sinister beats. Frost's work has only gotten bigger and bolder since, culminating in A U R O R A, an immersive and emotional album inspired by his time spent documenting the conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
