In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was nine, I was asked to perform in front of my whole family like all Asian families do. I put on a pair of socks, and Moonwalked thinking I was the coolest person in the room while "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus was playing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Harry Styles, Fine Line Kiana Ledé, KIKI (Deluxe) Lucky Daye, Painted (Deluxe Edition) The gems I learned listening to these are Masterclasses of their own, from production, composing, vocal arranging and writing, the inspiration and references I got out from them are things that helped me create my own music and sound. Tell us why you chose this song. “Interval Of Us - Instrumental” It's my first time using foley and working with greats like Silver & Nick (producer), making this track was time consuming yet fulfilling, telling the other side of a typical love story, highlighting the mundane and nonchalant life of a relationship. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Definitely having the opportunity to open for Korean rapper pH-1, it completely changed my perspective in music. So humbled by it and a dream come true, it was inspiring to say the least, motivating me to be a better performer and musician. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To put myself on the map, work with artists like Jacob Collier, Harry Styles, Lucky Daye and more, have an OST for a movie and eventually a Grammy.
