As a kid, I would grab a guitar at my high school and go to a stairwell and sing my heart out to Jesus between classes. Forerunner Music, Best of Onething (Live) Sin Bandera, Mis Favoritas: Sin Bandera Switchfoot, Switchfoot: Live - EP As a kid, Jon Foreman's songwriting and the way he authentically sang those songs really inspired me. Later on, I was taught how to emote in songs through Sin Bandera - Noel and Leonel are skilled at this. Of course I love me some Forerunner Music! We were stripped from things that were so dear to us and could only find refuge in the fact that God was near. Even though sometimes we feel pain, this song embraces it as "esclavos" of his love.
