In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was brought up on a diet of West End/Broadway Musicals and British rock like Dire Straights and Iron Maiden. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Plump DJs, FABRICLIVE 08: Plump DJs Stanton Warriors, Stanton Sessions Volume 2: The Lost Files Various Artists, Hyper Presents Y3k: Soundtrack To the Future (Part One) I love the early, emergent Nu Skool Breaks sound, it encompasses the vibes of all my favourite genres; House, Techno, Jungle, Electro, Dub, Reggae, etc. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sentience” This track is about Nature, and its inherent sentience, I live sampled sounds from my garden including wind, trees and birds. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The best gigs have been Boomtown Fair, warming up for Black Roots at Vegfest, Bristol and all of my own 100+ parties. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To have more people enjoying my productions as pieces of music, rather than simply DJ tools.
