Realistic was the guise of sound collage artist James Towning, who previously recorded under the name Fact TwentyTwo. Fellow noisemaker Andrew Izold joined Towning for the first Realistic recording, 1993's Experiments in Hypnotism; the solo Maidenhead followed in 1998. ~ Jason Ankeny
