In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was walking across the quad in middle school and heard the Iron Butterfly blaring from the gym. It rewired my brain and shifted my outlook on music and sound. It wiped away all the easy-listening music my parents had going non-stop in the house. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pink Floyd, The Dark Side Of The Moon (50th Anniversary) [2023 Remaster] Propaganda, A Secret Wish (Deluxe Edition) Soft Cell, Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret (Deluxe Edition) Each album was a revelation in both writing, performance and production. All three were a revelation upon their initial release, but all stand up as milestones today and there are always new discoveries hidden within the mixes. Tell us why you chose this song. “Everything Around Me (Out of Control)” This song is in contrast to how I have worked in the past—it was done almost live, including the vocals, which is one of a handful on which I'm not utilizing a vocoder. It is almost a blues, albeit one with electronic overtones.
